About the Special Presenters

Nickey Khemchandani

Nickey is the Chief Technology Officer of BSD. He spent the majority of his childhood “tinkering with tech” and stepped straight into digital agencies at the age of 18. He began his career in the publishing sector from where he built out his abilities into user experience and full stack development.

Nickey is now recognised as an expert in Asia for infusing technology and digital solutions into businesses across a range industries as well as developing teams in large organisations to create sustainable and effective solutions themselves. Nickey has advised over 1000 companies. In 2015 Nickey was recognised as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum.

As the original architect of BSD’s online and educational products, Nickey takes a Solution first – Technology second approach that has delivered a ground breaking validated solution in schools across 3 continents. With the ambition to create universal accessibility to technology for future generations, he aims to now take these solutions globally.

Sasha Varlamov

Sasha is a young serial tech entrepreneur who finished high school early to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams in software. He first found his passion at 11 years old when he learned how to code, and he’s been working professionally ever since the age of 14. In 2015, Sasha started his first successful venture called, BitwiseHacks, that has helped over 600 university students pursue their dreams with access to mentorship, funding, and jobs in the software industry through weekend hackathon events. As the CEO of BitwiseHacks, Sasha also sold, designed, and delivered custom enterprise solutions for partners including, AT&T, Cathay Pacific, and Microsoft to put on successful hackathon events with the aid of his proprietary software and systems. Most recently, Sasha became the co-founder of EXLHub, an AI-driven online learning platform for advanced computer science, and is also advising FutureHack – a transformative learning platform for entrepreneurship and innovation, based on the MIT curriculum – and Oracle Strategies – an algorithmic trading-based wealth management platform in Asia.
