Isaac is a Design Director and Principal with Fielding Nair International, a global architecture practice focused on the design of learning environments. He is currently stationed in Singapore to assist Singapore American School as it contemplates the renewal of its campus.
Isaac is passionate about the ways in which architecture and design can set the stage for learners to thrive and has led the design of schools in 11 countries on 5 continents. His design work has won numerous awards, most notably, the 2015 Association for Learning Environments MacConnell Award, for the design of Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher STEAM Middle School, in Greenville, SC.
Isaac has taught architecture at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has developed study abroad programs in the US, Dubai, Italy, and Scandinavia. His scholarship on school design has been published in both academic and trade publications, and he has lectured on school design throughout the US and internationally.
