Creating opportunities and a platform for student voice whilst supporting curriculum

STEAM 21st Century Skills Student Voice Diversity & Social Justice reThinking Literacy

How can schools ensure their students are being heard? What projects are students truly passionate about? What do students wish to share with their peers and teachers and how can schools celebrate the successes of their student community whilst inspiring others?

One idea to champion student voice is by handing control over to the students to plan and teach their own lessons. This presentation will showcase different ideas on how to make it work; demonstrate what that can look like in practice; and how this could be adapted to any setting.
