Innovative and Digital Learning in Primary School

Education Technology Innovation in Education

2 December 2021 (Thursday) - 07:00 PM - 08:00 PM

This presentation focuses on the work we have done in the Keystone Academy Primary School as we intentionally redesign our curriculum to include digital learning and innovative teaching practices and implement these changes in the classroom. While this is still a work in progress, we will explore what has worked well, areas we are still developing, and concrete examples that teachers and leaders may wish to try in their schools. Specifically, we will look at: Curriculum mapping, design, and development, interdisciplinary projects, cultural and language considerations, Minecraft Education, AR and VR, programming with micro:bits and Lego WeDo, GarageBand, badging programs, and digital learning “bootcamps”.
