The Boy Who Loved Engines and the Half Library: why libraries need librarians

27 November 2021 (Saturday) - 02:30 PM - 03:15 PM

What is a library? A grand suite with a view of Sydney Harbour but no qualified staff? A tiny street library? The shelf of grandpa’s books, untouched for twenty two years? A grand two minute history of libraries, and three minutes on where the library trajectory leads now, and forty minutes on how we can change that tragic trajectory.
