Key Ways to Support Learners with Additional Needs

Online Learning Curriculum & Pedagogy

As educators we want to ensure that we are investing our limited time and energy into instructional strategies that will lead to student success. Pulling from the Universal Design for Learning and the Council for Exceptional Children’s High Leverage Practices, this presentation will identify 10 instructional methods that will increase academic success, emotional regulation, and classroom independence. Attendees will walk away with concrete suggestions that they can begin to implement quickly and easily. Examples will be given for both face to face and online implementation.
