Learning By Doing: finding grassroots solutions to problems and sharing those stories with the world.

Innovation in Education Leadership Diversity & Social Justice

20 November 2021 (Saturday) - 03:00 PM - 03:45 PM

The picture book ‘One Plastic Bag’, an award winning collobaration between Isatou and Miranda, chronicles the story of how Isatou took action and found her own solution to the growing plastic waste problem that was impacting the lives of the people in her village of N’jau in The Gambia. Together they will take you on the journey of how this one small step over twenty years ago, inspired a whole movement, and hope that it will encourage others to join her cause or be a changemaker in their own communities.
