All learning is social and emotional learning! Our rigorous academic standards give us a golden opportunity to teach social-emotional skills and academic skills together. Join Savanna as she shakes us special education with her Public Service Announcement for including Social Emotional Learning into academic instruction for ALL students, and specifically students with exceptionalities. Learn about a practical three-step framework to include Social Emotional Learning into academic instruction: Purpose, Self-Management, and Awareness. In this interactive workshop participants will gain instructional strategies and innovative resources to incorporate social emotional learning into daily academic instruction.
